The QSFP28 to 2x 50G QSFP28 Direct Attach Cable operates on active copper for longer transmit distance and less thickness. This breakout cable complies with SFF-8665, QSFP28 MSA, SFF-8636, SFF-8679 standards. Hot-pluggable QSFP28 MSA is also supported.
It is suitable for very short distances and provides cost-effective interconnection between devices in data centers, high-performance computing (HPC) and Switches/Routers/Server/Storage racks using 100G QSFP28 ports and 50G QSFP28 ports.
